FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Num Finance? +
Num Finance is institutional-grade infrastructure for the onchain financial system. We build two core products: fully-backed local stablecoins for payments and settlement, and tokenized access to global investments. Num Finance provides the rails that exchanges, wallets, fintechs, and asset managers build on and integrate.
Why use a local stablecoin instead of USDT? +
Most onchain financial activity happens in USD-denominated stablecoins, which introduces FX friction for every transaction denominated in local currency. Num Finance's local stablecoins provide a native settlement layer onchain, removing conversion steps, reducing costs, and allowing platforms to operate in local currency with the efficiency of blockchain infrastructure.
How do I integrate Num Finance into my platform? +
Num Finance provides documented APIs and technical support for platforms that want to integrate local stablecoin payments and settlement, or tokenized asset distribution. The compliance framework, custody arrangements, and reserve administration are handled by Num Finance. Partners connect through APIs. To get started, reach out via the contact form.
Are Num Finance stablecoins investment products? +
No. Num Finance stablecoins are payment instruments. They do not generate interest, yield, or returns of any kind for holders. They are not investment products, not securities, and not legal tender. Stablecoins are not guaranteed by any government, central bank, or deposit insurance scheme.
How are reserves verified? +
Num Finance's reserves are structured to be auditable by third parties. The assets backing our stablecoins consist of cash balances, short-term sovereign securities, and regulated low-risk liquid assets. Institutional integrators can access reserve data as part of the integration process. The reserve structure and documentation allow independent verification.
